Jesper Kjaedegaard is an independent Board member and an advisor to several investment funds with an interest in logistics, ports, vessels and other maritime related assets.
Mr Kjaedegaard had a long and distinguished career with the A.P.Moller-Maersk Group where he served as a member of the A.P.Moller Group’s Executive Board for all Container related Business, whilst also heading up the company's global liner division, known then as Maersk-Sealand. He also spent some years as head of all APMM’s activities in the region spanning between Singapore and the Mediterranean. This included the development of terminals in Salalah, Mumbai, Pipavav and Aqaba.
Mr Kjaedegaard currently serves as a Non-Executive Board Director/Advisor for a number of both listed and privately owned maritime/ transport related companies in Europe and the Middle East. This includes the world’s largest ship management company; V-Group, Hafnia Tankers, Red Sea Gateway Terminals, Seatruck Ferries, and BIMCO.
He is also past President of the British Chamber of Shipping and Chairman of Maritime UK.
